her hands on his sides, as he explored her lips. He sucked one, then the other into his mouth. He licked them. Then, he broke off and softly kissed the corners of her mouth.

“Open for me,” he invited her, but when she kept her mouth closed, he added, “please.”

“I don’t ride,” she whispered out of the blue, “but I’d like to learn.”

Jay froze. It was the answer he wanted, but had not expected. If he’d had the same reply from any other woman, within minutes she would be somewhere in the desert or even the parking lot. Her skirt and underwear would be around her ankles and he’d be balls deep inside her. But, somehow, this woman was special. He realized she had just told him she wanted him, but she was an innocent abroad. He knew he had to be careful with her.

“Kiss me back,” he answered, “and maybe I’ll give you your first lesson.”

    “Here?”

“Perhaps not here, but later. Who knows?”
Ria was different from any of his other women. She was intelligent and witty, as her play on words showed him. For some reason he would never understand, he needed to romance her. Logically, it was stupid. After all, while it was going to end with him deep inside her. Plus, he was leaving in just over two days. Still, he was determined to court her. It was as if he wanted more before taking her to bed.

He kissed her again. This time she opened her mouth and allowed his tongue in. She let him taste the sweetness of her. Unused to what he was doing, she responded tentatively. First, fencing with his tongue, then, suckling it.

He was as excited as he’d ever been. Although she hadn’t yet touched him, he wanted to touch her. He wanted to feel her body and her breasts. He wanted to slide his fingers inside her panties and feel the wetness of her. But, it was too public. He had to content himself with grinding his erection against her, his cock riding against her pubic mound. She groaned into his mouth and pushed back, working her body against him.

He pulled his mouth away from hers. His breathing was labored and his voice raspy. He told her, “We’ve gotta stop. People will be looking.”

He paused and inhaled deeply in an attempt to slow the blood that rushed through his veins. It seemed to be on a direct route from his brain to his cock, too.

    “Can I see you tomorrow?”

It was not what she expected. She expected him to take her for a ride on his Harley. She thought she would end up impaled on his cock somewhere in the desert. She nodded in reply and added, “I work during the day at the archaeological dig site ten miles west of here, but I’m free at night.”

He kissed her again before releasing her. It was the hardest thing he had ever done; but, this was neither the place nor the time.

    CHAPTER FIVE

The next day was difficult for Ria. She knew she ought to concentrate on the dig, but all she could think of was Jay and the promise inherent in his hard body. She had hoped to hear from him during the day. She hadn’t given him her cellphone number; but, he wasn’t working and the dig wasn’t far from town. When he hadn’t appeared by eight o’clock that evening, she decided he’d had second thoughts. She was just about to wash her hair when Annie came in to announce that Jay was waiting for her.

“He’s a real cutie, despite being as big as a house,” Annie declared. “And he has all the boys eyeing his truck.”

“Truck?” Ria asked, picking up her purse. She’d expected a Harley. She was waiting to hear the roar of its exhaust.

“Yes. It’s a beauty and big, just like him.” She eyed her friend and then added, “He seems like a nice enough guy, although I still think he’s a bad ass. You be careful. You know what to do if you need me.”

    Ria nodded and
