Guess what? Adrianna has asked me to come to Vegas. Seems you boys in catalog need a woman to keep you in line, and I’m just the girl for the job. : ) I’m flying out tomorrow—am waiting for my itinerary right now, after which I’m headed home to pack. Looks like we’ll be trading in the phone for real face-to-face contact. See you then. D

Damn, even in e-mail, she made him hot. He needed a woman to keep him in line, all right, and she was just the girl for the job. Adrianna had told the catalog team she was bringing in outside help, but she hadn’t yet decided who—that had been this morning and they’d heard nothing about it since. Well, he’d have to commend the lady boss on her choice. His dick was perking to life in his pants already.
Of course, the truth was, he didn’t know if Diana would be interested in taking their sexy phone talk further now that they’d really have the chance. Phone sex was fun, but real sex was definitely a different event altogether. And although she seemed to be as naughty a girl as he could possibly want, she was dating that guy—Bradley. She didn’t always sound happy about it, but he knew she kept seeing him, so it was hard to know what to expect from her visit.
Besides which, they had work to do, and a lot of it. Adrianna had informed him and the three other guys on the team that she expected them to work weekends until the fall catalog was ready to go to print. Fortunately, despite such talk, their boss wasn’t a slave driver—he knew her well enough to know she wouldn’t expect them to work around the clock or anything totally exhausting, but she did expect them to treat Saturday and Sunday as nine-to-five days until the task was complete.
All of which meant he could look forward to spending a lot of time with Diana, but he had no idea how much of it, if any, would be social. And damn, he wanted to get social with her. He wanted to get downright intimate, if only she’d let him.
As of right now, though, she was a mystery woman. He knew she was smart, capable, flirtatious, and gave good phone sex, but he had no idea how she would be in person. In fact, for all he knew, she’d be embarrassed about how dirty they’d gotten with each other on the phone that hot, hot night. Of course, she didn’t seem embarrassed in her e-mail message, but…well, he’d just have to feel her out a little.
Pulling up the reply screen, he typed.

Am looking forward to ditching the phone for the real you. Yes, Adrianna complains I lack the proper discipline. That’s right, I’ve been a very bad boy…but maybe you can teach me…to write catalog copy that will appeal to the demographics. The bad news: boss lady has announced we’ll be working weekends ‘til the catalog’s done. The good: our nights will be free. Give me a call at the office after you get settled at your hotel and we’ll make plans to get together tomorrow night—I’ll show you Sin City in style, sweetheart. M

The heat of anticipation rippled through him as he hit Send. The message contained nothing more teasing and flirtatious than usual between them, but it would be her response that mattered.
He checked his watch. A little after two, and after five in Baltimore. Damn, he’d have to hope she got it before she left, or that she’d check her e-mail tomorrow at some point while traveling. Still, he wanted her to get the message now , so he wouldn’t have to wait and wonder, agonizing over what her answer would be.
To kill a couple of minutes before he started checking for a reply, he accessed the company website, clicking on the appropriate links until he reached her professional profile—and her picture. He hadn’t been lying that night—the woman made pinstripes sexy.
Now he only hoped he’d be lucky enough to get to run his hands through those long, lovely locks, a tawny shade mixed with just a hint of red. He hoped he’d get to kiss those silky lips, get to reach past the
