wasn’t a Hell’s Charter member.
Jesse placed the DVD inside the player, then took a seat beside her.
He sat so close that she felt his body heat radiating.
Stop losing your mind. Be sane, Piper.
The movie started and she found herself relaxing when she saw it was some kind of racing movie.
All too soon that relaxation disappeared as Jesse leaned in close, caressing her hair. She tensed, not knowing what to expect.
    “Relax, Piper.”
His voice was hypnotic. She closed her eyes and let out a moan. His fingers were stroking her neck, which felt like the most pleasure she’d ever had.
“I’m here, baby.” He’d moved closer in the last few seconds.
Turning her head to look at him, she was struck by how handsome he was, tattoos and all. “I thought we were watching a movie.”
“We were, and then I couldn’t help but touch you. Your skin is so soft.” His fingers glided over her cheek. “I want to kiss you, Piper.”
The closer he got the more she panicked. She’d never kissed anyone in her life.
Jesse’s lips were on hers before she got the chance to panic. She opened her lips and he plundered, stroking inside. The kiss deepened and his hands were stroking all over her body, building an inferno within her.
Heat pooled between her thighs. Her stomach knotted and her nipples were so tight they hurt.
An unbearable ache started and Jesse was the cause. She felt his fingers gliding down until he stopped, cupping her breast.
No, she couldn’t do this. Jerking away, she stood, to get away from him. Her breathing was ragged.
“I can’t do this,” she said, stepping away.
Escape was all she thought about.
“What? I felt you, Piper. You were with me.”
She moved to the fridge, grabbing her shopping, then whirled around to face him. “I’ve never done anything like this. This was only supposed to be food and a movie. I’ve never even been on a date.” Her words were running away from her.
Slapping a hand against her lips, she headed toward the door wishing the floor would open up to swallow her whole.
“Are you trying to tell me you’re a fucking virgin?”
She froze, turning to look at him in horror. No one knew her secret and hearing him mock her current status hurt.
    “Shit, you are. I’m sorry.”
“Forget it. This was a mistake. It was all a mistake.” She charged out of his apartment. Once outside, Piper spotted her car, climbed inside and was out of there.

Chapter Three
Jesse threw the vase he’d been given by a neighbor across his apartment. Fuck, his plans were screwing up left and right. He’d never taken a fucking virgin and was proud of himself for never getting mixed up with them. Virgins were females with expectations. He didn’t do relationships and that was what a virgin expected.
“Fuck.” Shouting the curse out failed to help his anger.
He grabbed his cell phone and dialed Charley’s number.
“Do you have any news for me?” Charley asked.
“No. There’s a problem. She’s a fucking virgin, Charley. How the fuck can I screw the information out of a fucking virgin? She doesn’t deserve this shit.”
He hated to admit it but he’d grown to like her. She wasn’t like any other woman he’d ever met. Women who grew up in the lifestyle rarely held any sense of innocence.
Piper wasn’t really in the lifestyle. Her father was the club president while she was only his daughter.
“Then you’re going to have to keep it up before you get rid of her. We need this information and I’d hoped we could get what we needed without hurting the poor girl. I can’t think of anyone better to take her virginity. Give her body a party, Jesse. When you’re done I won’t ask anything else from you.”
“I can’t do this.” Jesse gritted his teeth as he spoke.
“We all do our shit for the club. Do you expect the boys to be happy with looking over their shoulders every time they leave? I hate to bring the girl in but this has played out of our hands. Give me a
