taken my compliment to heart, but also found it more distracting to be around him now without his glasses. I kept trying to sneak a peek at him when he wasn’t looking, and I was pretty sure I caught him doing the same to me.
All week things between Luke and I were definitely different. We were still professional, but there was a flirtatious undercurrent that hadn’t been there before. Whereas previously our physical contact had been fairly limited, suddenly we always seemed to have an excuse to touch each other, be it a guiding hand on the small of a back, a pat on the shoulder, or a touch on the knee to get the other’s attention. Underneath tables our legs were always touching, feet glued to one another's as though taking part in a three-legged race.  There was something about the secret nature of it that was driving me wild. Somehow this subtle, discreet touching was turning me on more than overt sexual gestures would have. There was both a sweetness to it and an undercurrent of something else. It felt like such a tease. I wanted more than anything to grab him and have my way with him, but I didn’t want to freak him out, so it seemed best to let him set the pace.
It wasn’t until Thursday over lunch that we spoke about our arrangement again.
“So, any plans this weekend?” Luke asked me.
    “Nothing special. You?”
He shrugged. “Nothing special. I don’t suppose you’d like to maybe continue what we started last weekend?”
I smiled. “I’d like that, yeah.”
    “Saturday night? Your place again?”
    “Sure, sounds great.”
Luke smiled and I thought I might melt. “Great! I can’t wait.”
He left the room and I sat with my heart pounding. There was no denying how I felt about him now. Whether I liked it or not I had fallen for Luke, and I could not wait for Saturday night.

    CHAPTER SIX

Saturday night couldn't come soon enough, and by now I was champing at the bit to go all the way with Luke. I’d devoted way too much time to thinking about both our last encounter and what would happen next. I hoped sleeping with him might grant me a little peace of mind.
That night I showered and shaved, taking my time to get ready and make sure everything was just right. I know guys aren't as sentimental about their first time as some women are, but I still wanted it to be as perfect as possible for him. If he was gonna remember this forever, may as well make it worth remembering, right?
I did my makeup in an extremely sultry way, even adding lashes for extra glamour. Last time I wanted to come across as an approachable girl next door. This time I wanted to be a sex fantasy come to life. I dispensed with real clothes altogether and instead strapped on a dark rose and black corset that ended just underneath my breasts, causing them to jut out, presented like some sumptuous gift. I’d paired the corset with a black crotchless thong and black garter belt and stockings. On my feet I wore the highest heels I owned; a pair of sky-high patent leather pumps. I covered up with a deep-rose satin robe, headed to the living room, threw on some music, poured myself a glass of white wine, and waited nervously for my suitor to arrive.
When I heard the knock at the door I took a deep breath, gave myself a final once over and opened the door.
    “Hi,” I said.
“Hi -wow-” Luke said, looking at my robe, “I’m sorry, am I early?”
I smiled and shook my head. “Right on time.”
I moved aside so Luke could enter and I let my hand run down his neck and back as he passed me.
“You look great,” I told him. He wore a light blue button up shirt that made his eyes look amazing. Now that I knew what was under his clothes, I found it hard to stop imaging how I’d like to run my tongue all over his chest.
“So do you,” he said, bringing his hands to my hips. “I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t been thinking about this all week.”
I smiled, happy about his confession, and ran my fingers
