there seems to be a pretty decent crowd.
“Hey, I didn’ t know you were working tonight,” Harper says, surprised to see me.
“I don’t usually, but I picked up the hours?  You don’t usually work during the week,” I say shocked.
“Oh, I switched with Marcus.  Why aren’t you working this weekend?” she asks as she checks the coolers to see what needs stocked.
“I’m not going to be in town,” I say nervously.
“Where the hell are you going?” she says as she stops doing everything and stares at me awaiting my answer.
“Don’t say anything,” I say as a whisper, “I’m going to Idaho.”
“What the hell for?” she asks looking confused.
“Parker’s playing in Idaho, so I’m going to surprise him,” I say with a huge smile.
“Oh he’s going to love that.  You shouldn’t be going by yourself.  I would have come with you if you would have told me,” she says with a concerned look.
“My sister and her friend are coming with me. Plus you’re coming when he’s playing in Seattle,” I say , reminding her.
“Damn straight,” she says with a smile.
We get slammed with customers, which ends our conversation.  Throughout the night we get to talk for a few minutes, but nothing too serious.  I do inform her not to tell anyone, since it is it’s a surprise.  I know she won’t tell.  Harper has a few friends, she’s slowly opening up to more people, and it’s a slow process.
At the end of the night Tuck’s there to take Harper home.  They are back to their normal selves.   I have no id ea why he was acting strange, but whatever it was, they seemed to have worked things out.
The next morning, I do my usual routine.   I head to class, come home, work on some homework then start packing.  I’m getting more and more excited by the minute.
“How soon are we leaving?” my sister asks from my bedroom door.
“ Thirty minutes,” I tell them as I shove the last of my shit into my stuffed bag.
Within the next thirty minutes , the house is clean and we are packed in my car and on our way to Boise, Idaho.
“How long does it take to get to where we’re going?” Liz asks from the backseat.
“We’re looking at about eight to nine hours, depending on how many stops we make,” I say looking directly at my sister.  I swear she has to pee like every ten minutes.
“I’ll hold it, I promise,” she says as she holds three fingers up like a Girl Scouts honor.
“You were never in Girl Scouts,” I state, “a nd we will stop for food and bathroom breaks.”
I make a quick stop to get food and then continue on our long drive to Boise.
About four hours in both girls are passed out, leaving me to drive the nighttime by myself.  The peace and quiet is nice, but I could use some company to keep me awake.
I should have taken into account my lack of sleep, too late now.
Now that I think about it, I’m not sure why we left Thursday evening instead of Friday morning.  Sometimes, I don’t think things through properly.
After seven hours of driving, I pull into the first convenient store I see.  I need some caffeine and to stretch.  My body aches everywhere.
I wake the girls to see if they want anything, they both mumble no and go back to sleep.  Great, such wonderful company I have.
Thankfully , the last hour and a half goes by quickly and I pull into the hotel.  It’s going on 4:00 a.m. and I’m beyond exhausted.
I check us in and we head into our room for the next few days.   I don’t even waste time to unpack or change, I crawl on the bed and pass out.  I’m guessing Nora and Liz do the same, because I never hear a word out of them.

Chapter Four
Friday is here, and today I get to see my boyfriend who I haven’t seen in months…MONTHS , I TELL YOU.
I wake up in the middle of the afternoon.  I wake up to my sister and Liz trying on outfit after outfit, trying to figure out what the hell they are wearing to the concert tonight.
